Only place candle on a heat resistant and stable surface. Trim wick to 1/8 inch to prevent smoking. Burn candle until surface ls liquid before extinguishing for best results. Extinguish candle by replacing metal lid. Leave 3/4 inch wax at the bottom before discarding to prevent glass shattering. Make sure wick is entered to prevent glass from cracking or shattering.
